Not every good home needs to be in a tower. Ashiana Ekansh is a mid-to-premium residential community planned for 560 homes on about 8.6 acres, and Ashiana Housing is building it in several phases, in buildings of stilt plus 14 floors. Demand has been healthy so far. Phase 3, launched in mid-2024 with 112 units, sold 92 homes on its first day. Home loans are available from HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank.

The project sits off Jaisinghpura Road near the Hanging Gardens, in the Mansarovar Extension and Bhankrota area of west Jaipur. This belt is part of the residential growth off Ajmer Road, where many Jaipur families have moved for newer, more affordable homes than the inner city offers. It is a practical, family-oriented area rather than a showy one.

Being part of the Mansarovar Extension belt off Ajmer Road connects you to one of Jaipur's main arterial roads, which links the west of the city to the centre and onwards out of town. The Hanging Gardens nearby also give the immediate surroundings a landmark everyone in the city knows.

The amenities are aimed squarely at families. There is a clubhouse, a swimming pool and a gym, with a badminton court and a jogging track for regular exercise. Younger children have a dedicated play area, and the yoga lawn gives older residents a quiet outdoor space for the mornings.

About the developer, Ashiana Housing has been building since 1979 and is headquartered in New Delhi. It is best known for senior living communities and kid-centric homes, with projects in Jaipur, Bhiwadi and Gurugram among other places. Its style tends to be quieter than many large builders, with lower density, plenty of open space and real thought about how families live day to day. One practical note: Ashiana's quoted sizes often look like carpet area, so ask for both carpet and super area before comparing prices with other projects.
